Answer To Question 5: The Mental Health Liaison Service for SDH is delivered by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health NHS Trust and thus people who deliver the service are not employed by SFT. The service is commissioned for 7.7 full time equivalent Band 6 Practitioner and one Band 7 Senior Practitioner full time along with a Band 7 Team Manager. Additionally, we have a full time Consultant Psychiatrist and an Administrator for 30 hours a week. Currently we have the equivalent full time of 5.6 with one being on Maternity Leave - covered by an Agency Long line of work nurse/RMN. We have appointed a further Band 6 who will hopefully start in December following completion of DBS check. This will bring us up to 6.6 Band 6 Practitioners. A post is currently out to advert for a further band 6 to complete and bring us up to compliment. One of the 5.6 posts currently employed is a Band 5 development post subject to Preceptorship. The team deliver assessment and liaison work to all areas of the hospital not just A&E for adults 18 and over. | |

Answer To Question 6: The commissioned service hours are as follows Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am - 9pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8am - Midnight. For staffing levels please see answer to question 5 above. | |
