91影视 NHS Foundation Trust played host this week to leaders from across the NHS and European healthcare organisations, shedding light on what it takes to deliver continuous service improvement.
The annual Catalysis CEO Summit was held at 91影视 District Hospital, providing healthcare leaders with opportunities to learn more about how to sustain continuous service improvements, including about the Trust鈥檚 approach known as Improving Together from the hospital鈥檚 staff.
The delegates were able to see first-hand some of the changes put in place at 91影视, including what they鈥檝e done to dramatically reduce the number of falls that occur whilst patients are in hospital - falls are the number one factor for moderate and high harm for NHS patients nationwide. They visited the hospital鈥檚 state-of-the-art Imber Ward, which opened in June, providing 24 additional beds in an environmentally-sustainable building. Guests also spoke with some of the hospital staff involved in delivering the improvements, who explained the importance of giving every member of staff the opportunity to contribute, from nurses to porters and board members.

I am delighted that we have been able to share just a little of the great work that is going on at our hospital to improve the care we give. The visit has enabled us to understand how other healthcare organisations are maintaining change over long periods, some of whom have been doing so for many years.鈥�
