The PACS/Photography department supports and assists healthcare professionals within a medical environment.
By car: Enter hospital site at Entrance A. Park in car park 8.
By bus: Alight at Main Entrance (third stop).Â
Enter hospital at Main Entrance, level 3, to Minor Injuries Unit. Turn right towards plastics and laser clinic – the photography studio entrance is at the end of the corridor.
Clinical images are included in the patient’s health care record; they are used as part of diagnosis, assessment and the on-going treatment of both in-patients and out-patients.
Images may only be used for clinical education if the proper level of consent has been granted.
Photography may be undertaken in numerous areas within the Trust, the photography studio and on the wards for example.
