A new scheme to support patients to get home as soon as possible will be launched at 91Ó°ÊÓ District Hospital the week beginning 17th January 2022. 91Ó°ÊÓ District Hospital is the first site to trial the scheme with Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust following.

91Ó°ÊÓ Hospital has published a collection of pandemic poetry and video readings by Oscar winning actress Olivia Colman.

We've begun producing a series of videos shining a light on some of our teams and the work they do to care for the people of our community. The first in the 'Who's Looking After You?' series focuses on the surgical team in Theatres.

Today is World AIDS Day, which is celebrated to spread awareness about HIV, show support for people living with HIV, and commemorate the ones who died of HIV. Dr Helen Iveson, consultant in Sexual Health at our hospital, as part of the Wiltshire Sexual Health team, offers advice on HIV testing and treatment.

Each of our seven Directors is spending time shadowing staff in services across the hospital as part of ‘Executive back to the floor’ sessions. They're also blogging about their visits.
